Support the bike shop that supports Tour de Forth.

Edinburgh Bicycle will be providing the mechanical support on the day. There will be mechanics at the start at Ingliston and at the water stop. We will also try to setup support points along the route.

For all your pre-ride needs including bike servicing, visit the Bike Co-op shops on Whitehouse Loan, Bruntsfield and Rodney Street, Canonmills, Edinburgh.

Our bike shop partners Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op won't just be offering free mechanical backup on the day. They're giving away a £100 gift voucher each month leading up to Tour de Forth. All you have to do is sign up for the ride and your name goes into the prize draw. Easy.

In addition to carrying two spare inners and pump, we recommend you get your bike serviced in advance of the sportive. Minor problems such as gears slipping or that annoying clicking noise from your derailleur can easily turn into a complete failure on a long ride or when you are stressing the chain and cogs on a hill. For peace of mind, pop into Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op anytime and they'll give your bike a free safety checkover, and advise you what work might be required to make it sportive-ready.
