Tour de Forth takes place on Sunday 2nd June 2019, with two routes; the Tour de Forth - classic sportive starting at 8am, covering 97.3Km (60.5miles) and the Tour de Forth - nouveau sportive starting at 830am, covering 44km (27.3 miles). The event is being run in aid of two local charities; Mercy Corps and Cash for Kids. Registration will be available at Mercy Corps on the Saturday afternoon and on the day with the usual photo ID requirement opening from around 630am.
Many of us have taken part in cycle sportives in Scotland and all over the world but Edinburgh seems to lack a local sportive where we don't have to get up before dawn to take part! The Tour de Forth sportives have been designed for all capabilities of cyclists to take part and to cycle some of the scenic parts and quieter roads around the Forth. We are working with two very different, inspiring charities and really appreciate your support by donating or raising funds.
Please follow us on Facebook, where we will add updates as we get closer to the event.
Tour de Forth raises funds for Mercy Corps and CashforKids, two locally based charities. All donations much appreciated - if you would like to help raise funds or just donate, please go to our site at EverydayHero.
